Who we help & how

01.

Preventative Stage

The aim is to give support to young people between 10-17
to help them learn how to navigate life from a different perspective without the coping mechanisms based around trauma.

Counselling / talking therapy can really help a young person look at things from different angles. Therapeutic consistency gives the individual the ability to explore and go deeper into their problems in a safe environment.

Issues they could be facing are:
– Rejection
– Abuse
– Single parent households issues
– School /education exclusion
– Racism

Culturally appropriate therapy can help to rebuild self confidence and sense of self worth without judgement.

02.

Restorative Stage

We also work with 17+ yrs who have experienced the prison or care system, as well as addiction or gang related lifestyles.

We provide support for them to turn their life around (if they choose too) in a safe and confidential environment, with time focused consistency and alignment to move forward in life.

We aim to build structural and emotional support with practical tools and signpost to other organisation when needed.

Other issues they may be facing could be racism and micro/macro aggression in the workplace.
